La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique by Yves Saint Laurent is an Aromatic Spicy fragrance launched in 2021 for men. I should start by saying I've never tried the original nuit, but with all the hype I blind bought bleu. Guys, it’s no secret that the big perfume labs splice openings, mids and bases of best sellers so that they can sell you the same fragrance again and again and again without triggering any major negative feedback about copycat fragrances. No doubt YSL and/or there distributor were keen to create a pyramid that would cut the link to Eros.

I'm wearing this now, and while this is definitely not a masterpiece, I don't think it's quite as bad as how other reviewers see this fragrance. Opening leans a little more L'Homme than LNDL, but the bulk of the fragrance in the drydown has the darker LNDL vibe. Smells like they took Eros and toned down the apple, made the entire fragrance much smoother, and less strong. I think the opening is very interesting -- like a much sweeter, L'homme-style take on GIT: fresh and almost green (apple instead of lemon verbena - with lemon, lavender, wood, vetiver), but then significantly darkened with vanilla/tonka-sweetness that gets close to the "bubblegum" edge.The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products.

Soon after the opening, the initial fruity accord smooths out leaving behind a faint sweet apple touch. I don't know why they release a flanker every year rather than focusing on increasing the performance of the originals. One wearing I could still smell it after 14 hours and another it was gone completely in under 2 but I'd say average is 4-6 with a soft silage. It so sweet in the opening nearly cloying but not overwhelming yeah that's the work of the Apple note in the top note but it settle down after the dry down in an hour plus so you won't feel any cloying or whatsoever. it's got a fruity, semi-sweet opening, lots of vanilla and tonka, and the geranium gives it a 'minty' note.

I showed it to two friends in Toronto where they still carry it, one did prefer it to the OG and the other immediately said it smells like baby powder. Having said that, if you kind of like Eros, but wish it was just a little less 'out there' this is honestly a good alternative. Many people saw next to the expensive vintage flacons on the second-hand market the Flanker "Frozen Cologne" as a good alternative, it is but very similar to the "original formula", just a little fresher.

They ground the scent, giving it the kind of staying power that makes you think, "If I were a fragrance, I'd be this one. It's not as loud as Eros but that seems to be by design as it is loud enough to be noticed and it lasts the entire night. What you actually get here in Bleu Électrique is nearly the same thing you got in La Nuit de L'Homme Eau Électrique by Yves Saint Laurent (2017), that came and went five years earlier. Elegant, seductive and powerful, they provide the finishing touch to an unusually beautiful fragrance bouquet by Yves Saint Laurent that will delight the ladies. SEASONS: Winter, spring, fall, colder days, daytime, nighttime, and climate-controlled environments.I gotta say it is close from what I remember OG LNDLH smells like, spicy but not as spicy as the OG but the warm, sensual, cozy feel is like the OG. My guess is if you want to try this one now, you'll have better luck at YSL Boutiques or at airports. Due to its uplifting bright character i would say its very versitale, spring/fall but my intention was to be my winter scent(replacing Bvlgari ManInBlack) but now we have 25-30 °C and it wasnt cloying or something like that. Like really, if you take it so seriously and spend your time and energy doing it, maybe you should get yourself a life. I love the designer house's fresh take on a powdery and sweet fragrance, making it acceptable to wear in cooler weather, particularly during the day.
