About this deal

Torn between loyalty to Anya and his duty as a CIA operative, Drake is plunged into a desperate race against time to track down Anya, find out the truth behind her actions, and stop her before she can launch further attacks. Carrying on in the same world as before, it this time focuses on a different character, as Alex Yates steps to the forefront and Drake steps out of the picture. At one point I laughed because there is no way that real humans could endure the series of events and keep going with the kind of single-minded resolve Cameron and Lori show.

Una expedición desaparecida en extrañas circunstancias y una conexión con el presente que puede llevar a la muerte de millones de personas. Primero a una persona que hubiera disfrutado con películas como “La jungla de cristal” o “Depredador”. So I'll admit i had to re listen to the beginning, where we are introduced to a lady that is important later on since. This author has a knack for providing character and background information within the narrative without info-dumping, and everything is written in such a way that you just *have* to keep reading, line after line, page after page. The whereabouts of the mysterious Anya are unknown, and therefore she remains a threat, both to herself, and to Cain’s ruthless ambitions at Langley and beyond. The virus was so deadly, that there was no known cure and therefore, the Soviet government abandoned the project. If a casual, quick read for some contemporary action is something you're after, then this isn't a bad choice.

My intention is to give the reader something to think about when considering if he's truly a monster. Some of what took place I could see coming a mile off, but thankfully there were still enough twists and subversion to keep the story rolling. The experience piqued his interest in military history, and encouraged him to learn more about conflicts past and present. The bad guys aimed to spread the long-lost apocalyptic virus that makes human falls into a frenzied madness and attacks one another. That's what I enjoy most about this series - watching Drake and his companions change and develop with each book.I really like how the author chose to end the story (not the end of the book which is an epilogue after the events of the story). It may be understandable for an author to want to remind the reader if the thought is they may have forgotten or perhaps become confused, but this happened too often and, frankly, not enough happened between these instances for a reader to really forget. Overall I expected better from this author because I’ve enjoyed a lot of Critical Drinker’s YouTube content and even when I’ve disagreed with him I think he and I have similar taste in screen media.

Her boss vetoes this strenuously but Dalton defies him and takes a small contingent of medical and army personnel to see what is going on. I had really been looking forward to reading this book and now that I have, I can say it didn't disappoint! Dalton wants to investigate the cause of this mysterious event and despite her boss's vetoes, she drives into this village with a small contingency of medical team and army personnel. Ultimately, it’s the strong and emotionally resonant characters that help elevate the excellence of the story, augmenting the high-powered action along with the exciting uncovering of the mystery with intriguing breadcrumbs expertly set up at each chapter as readers get a horrifying glimpse at how the biological threat came to be, a plot unlike anything I expected.Jordan/Critical Drinker, because you certainly have a storytelling gift, and I'm thrilled that you've shared it with the world.
