Our friends at NECA have provided us with an advanced sample of the Halloween Kills – Michael Myers Ultimate 7″ Scale Figure. Inspired by his iconic appearance in the original Halloween (1978) movie, the Michael Myers Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure wears a costume of tailored blue fabric coveralls and a black fabric undershirt as well as sculpted boots. This archetype resonated so well with audiences that filmmakers have been going back to it for decades. The film will hit theaters, and will be available same day on Peacock Premium for those who would rather watch at home.

Michael Myers escapes from the burning house of Laurie Strode to continue his rampage in Haddonfield. The biggest addition is the all-new head sculpt, which features heavy burn marks on the left side of the face, and a bloody gash on the right cheek.The bare hands are less orange this time out, and have a more natural color appearance, and they are also covered in blood and soot.

For the die-hard Halloweenfans, the Pop Culture Shock Exclusive version will come with a number of extra accessories including a light up jack o' lantern, Judith Myers tombstone and a bed sheet "ghost" costume! I was a bit skeptical at first because it seemed the internet was griping about the mask and features. The Exclusive Michael Myers 1:3 Scale Statue will feature a custom tailored real fabric costume and two interchangeable portraits, one featuring fully sculpted hair and another with mixed media hair. The right hand (the grip hand) has a very tight grip, so I do recommend warming that a bit before trying to have him hold the knives, as I’ve run into issues in the past with that knife design breaking while trying to place in tight grips. I surprisingly prefer the black base when posing The Shape; with the lifelike hair sculpt, bloody knife, and sheet with glasses in his left hand. There doesn’t seem much different between the two other than that, so I expect most fans will pick one and stick with that for their display. The articulation is the same as that release, with double jointed elbows, and an articulated waist hidden under the soft vinyl overlay for a more seamless torso. I did like that he could hold the mask accessory, though it’s sized just right to act as a head sculpt for those that want to.
